- Upper barrel and holder comes in anodic oxide (for permanent color & shock resistant) satin color finish.
- The straight cut line on the barrel have applications to be more balanced and light weight as the pen can be and also helps the pen to not rolling.

Body, Cap & ClipUsing the pen is equally as luxurious as the looks (and the price tag). The cap unscrews with just over a 3/4 turn (about 300 degrees), and posts very nicely, gripping onto the body. The clip is firm, but easily slides onto clothing and would do well in the breast pocket of a suit jacket. The size is perfectly comfortable to use unposted in any large hands. Posting the cap does balance the pen out a lot and improves the aesthetics immensely when writing, plus the hollow design means the pen is remarkably balanced and comfortable to use for very long periods (even when filled with ink). |

Nib performanceGerman Nib quality. The Wancher ‘’Precision’’ is the all-around renaissance man of a pen. It’s stout (but not obnoxiously large,) it performs well on all types of paper, and it performs well in at all speeds. You can kick out a hasty note writing fast and furious and the ink supply keeps up, or you can meander through your thoughts and it’s happy to please. Although it’s not truly a flex nib, it has enough give to add character and if you write enough, you can see the emotion in your own writing just by the character of the lines, pressure of the strokes, etc. I can see in my notes where I rushed, where I carefully crafted my thoughts and where I was brain-dumping thoughts to paper to get it all out. All of that shows up not only in your penmanship but in the character of the lines a great nib lays down. |
