This Guitar is a  Factory 2nd ( sold as used ) 

My Factory 2nd  guitars and basses are a tremendous value. 

Factory 2nd guitars are deemed as such directly from the manufacturer. They have never been previously sold in retail or distributed to a music store.

 These guitars are marked as 2nd by the manufacturer when they fail to pass final inspection. They usually will have a minor cosmetic finishing flaw that prevents them from being sold as new instruments. 

These blemishes do not affect the playability of the instruments at all, and otherwise these guitars are like brand new instruments.

Apart from the defect listed they are perfect , all the electronics , pickups , tuners, neck. and frets etc. are good . Every guitar is checked out by me before shipping. There is no manufactures warranty and sometimes it is difficult to identify why some of these guitars were marked as seconds.

These instruments are probably in better condition than the new ones hanging in your local music or big box store . These instruments do not have major flaws ( UNLESS STATED ), they have had a minor issue such as a slight finish blemish or perhaps an electrical issue such as a loose solder joint. I buy my guitars and basses directly from the manufacturer .  Each instrument gets set up and checked before it is released for sale. Some of the models are discontinued and have no issues at all. Instruments are stamped with a S on the back of the headstock. This is to prevent unethical retailers from selling these instruments as new rather than refurbished. 

The advantage of purchasing a factory 2nd or refurbished guitar is the tremendous value. These guitars are often sold at hundreds of dollars less than their 'new' counterparts. You are basically getting a never owned, like-new condition or near-perfect condition guitar for the price of a used instrument
