This is an absolutely divine 1956 Omega Seamaster automatic! It is a Reference 6250 with a Calibre 500 17 jewel automatic movement. Vintage Omega movements were made 100% in house- a huge attribute! That means every individual part of this movement was machined and assembled completely in the Omega Factory! The watch has a beautiful champagne silver dial with 14KGF numerals, arrowhead hour markers, logo, and hands. The hands and hour markers are luminescent as well! The OMEGA Automatic Seamaster script on the dial is painted in crisp and clear black lettering. The watch features its original Omega 14 Karat Gold Filled Case ( 14 K.G.F) that has a screw down case back and a lustrous polished finish. The crown is fluted and is also 14 K.G.F. This timepiece has a newer Alta Arden Genuine Leather band that has a nice chile-rubbed brown color and decorative stitching. This watch is a great size at just about 34 mm. The watch also has it's original acrylic crystal. Everything about this watch is nothing short of amazing! You would never know it was 61 years old! No noticeable flaws ( just 2 or 3 tiny scratches on the 61 year old crystal). I'm a watch collector, and I can honestly tell you that this is the most accurate watch I've owned, and the nicest looking vintage one I've had too! The Seamaster is such a nostalgic watch! To find one in this condition is very rare! Another nostalgic feature of this watch is that Omega did not adopt the seahorse logo for the Seamaster until 1958- this is a pre-seahorse logo Seamaster!

Last but not least...

**This beauty was just serviced and cleaned! **

Please don't hesitate to ask me any and all questions! This is a watch that makes a statement, and will provide years of reliable timekeeping and aesthetic enjoyment!
