This is the first edition of the Rosebank Flora and Fauna release, which was issued in nice high quality wooden box.

A sad loss to the world of whisky when this Lowland distillery finally closed its doors in 1993 and this is one of the few official bottles still available and it is a superb example of old style Lowland that the current duo of Auchentoshan or Glenkinchie do not come anywhere close to emulating.

Nose: Rich barley and cereal, hot oats & honey, coconut biscuits, freshly cut straw, subtle floral notes and lemon curd.

Palate: Oily, herbal lemon, vanilla bon bons, fresh straw, sugared almond, mandarin orange and ginger spice.

Finish: Fizzy citrus, fresh cereal, floral & herb oil and subtle smoked or singed barley.

Classic triple distilled delicate & elegant lost Lowland.
