This Kindle is actually the B00A model that is European. The Kindle site says Kindle 3 wi-fi and 3G for European customers.  Kindle customer service said this should work here in the US just fine.  The only real flaw is the hole where the cover connects is a little chewed up.  But it does still function.  Comes with a USB cable for charging but no AC adapter.
