Kenwood TS-820 1.8 - 30 MHz CW / SSB / FSK Ham Transceiver w/ CW & SSB Filters
Physically, the radio is in good condition for its age showing some wear. The biggest issue is that there is a small dent on the back left corner of the cabinet and some permanent marker writing in a few places. Aside from some other small scuffs, scratches, and dings, the radio looks clean! Please see the photos for more details.
Our technician tested the radio and found that it works great! Here is what he had to say: "Tested over two days on receive and transmit, used dummy load and SWR / watt meter. Used MC-50 microphone (not included) on SSB - full output! Used RF generator on all bands to test receive signal strength and frequency calibration. Crystal calibrator works! Good front panel and a nice, bright display! Please download and read the manual before use!"
Included with the radio is a power cord.
IMPORTANT: This is a vintage piece of equipment, and unless specifically noted above, it has not been fully restored with new components. It will inevitably need maintenance, however it's impossible to know whether that will be next week or a few years down the road. Unless you are capable of doing this work yourself (or have access to someone who can), we suggest you revisit the idea of whether this is the right equipment for you.
