The M-One XL is a mid-range reverb / effects unit in a neat 1U box. It's a twin-engine device so can process two signals at the same time. The engines can be used in parallel or as dual-mono with stereo outputs. Dual mono gives two separate effects, making the XL two effects units in one
The XL is an updated version of the earlier M One and adds more memories (200 presets rather than 100), XLR connectors and a number of additional reverb and delay programs. Both have a full Midi implementation with System Exclusive messages, program changes and real-time Continuous Controllers

The M-One XL is ideal for use with a DAW, via the built-in SP/DIF digital ins & outs, allowing processing to stay in the digital domain
It's equally at home in an analogue setup with professional balanced inputs & outputs on XLR connectors. Inputs & outputs are stereo and processing can be stereo or split into two separate 1-in, 2-out effects

The M-One XL makes an interesting alternative to a Lexicon reverb / effects unit. With balanced XLR connections plus SP/DIF digital i/o it's easy to integrate it into an existing rig and, with hundreds of high quality presets and excellent editing facilities, it's an effects unit to cover lots of bases
The next step up the TC Electronics food chain is theM2000 but, for those on a tighter budget, the M-One XL will be ideal
The M-One XL is clocked internally at 48 kHz and will sync to incoming digital signals at 44.1 and 48 kHz. AD/DA convertors are 24-Bit with 128 x oversampling. Internal processing is 24-Bit and the unit supports 24-Bit digital inputs. Output dither is switchable. Digital connections are SP/DIF via the usual phono connectors. Analogue inputs & outputs are balanced on XLRs with a nominal operating level of 0 dBu and maximum input & output level of + 24 dBu. See also the Tech Specs link above

Vintage gear
All vintage gear will have case scratches and marks. It may also have, or develop, noisy pots and switches. I make my descriptions as accurate as possible and note any existing defects.
