Vintage large Japanese lacquer jewelry box with drawers, compartments, mirror, music box and key. Measures 14" long x 8" wide and 5" high. Some wear and rubs and missing lacquer. (mostly in the back) Music box works well and the key works smoothly. The box is black with a multicolor Japanese scene on the top and all around the box. The inside is lined with deep blue velvet corduroy with 2 drawers on each side and inside the center compartment is a small lift up hidden compartment with a small red wood knob. Nice clear mirror under the lid with a hand painted women in a rickshaw.
