A few of our Furry Friends:

Sparky

Sparky

Sparky was rescued when his owner's home was padlocked and authorities let all the cats (who had never been outdoors) out to fend for themselves.  He had growths or polyps in his ears caused from severe ear mite infestation.  He had surgery to remove them.  He has been adopted.

Lucky

Lucky

Lucky was rescued from a boarded up abandoned home in Atlantic City. Neighbors heard his cries, but he had been there a couple of weeks before someone could break in to free him. He weighed only 4 pounds. Dr. Rew and staff did not give up on him, saved his life, and he is now living the good life and at last contact with his adoptive family weighed in at 16 pounds.

Little Richard

Little Richard

Little Richard was rescued from woods behind a Home Depot store. He had been shot with a bb gun and has a broken femur. He is safe in a foster home. Dr. Nordt wants to see if the break will heal on its own, so he may or may not need surgery.

GaGa and Elton

GaGa

Gaga and Elton were transferred from an overcrowded CMC shelter. They were rescued from a campground with their mother. Elton had two wounds from warbles, caused by a bot fly laying eggs and boring into his neck and head. His wounds have healed and these sweet littermates have been adopted together.
