This is a splendid Edwardian Arts & Crafts solid silver curved pocket card case. 
It has a hammered finish on both sides and is of rectangular form with hinged lid. 
It has a full set of English hallmarks on the body and a partial set on the lid showing these two pieces have always been together. 
Hallmarks show WBld for maker Williams of Birmingham Ltd, Anchor for Birmingham, Lion Passant for sterling silver and date letter g for 1906. 
The card case is in excellent condition with no dents, splits or repairs. 
The hammered design on the body is still clearly defined. 
The case has the added advantage of having a central cartouche which is free of any initials or engravings.
 Closed the case measures aprox. 8.2cm x 4.2cm.
 It weighs approx. 40 grams.
