Bob Buteux's first book documents his life and live of fishing. From the forties to the present day, he has devoted long days and nights in search of big carp, barbel,  roach, chub and pike. These trips have brought him close to many of the finest anglers of his generation. From fishing at Southill Park with Bill Quinlan, Ashley Pool with Tom Mintram and Jack Hilton, Long Life Pit with Len Arbery and Kevin Clifford. Also pleasant times in the Hampshire Avon with Peter Stone and Bill Warren and warm friendships with Richard Walker, BB and Fred J Taylor.

Fishing With The Famous is a wonderful adventure through over 50 years of coarse angling with some of e best contemporary anglers.

The book is in very good condition, as is the dust jacket, which has just minor shelf wear and is now protected in a removable plastic cover. It is number 513 of only 600 copies produced and has been signed by Bob and by publisher and illustrator, Tom O'Reilly. A very nice example of the sought after first edition of this classic book.
