For Sale here is a nearly unused Alesis Modfx Ampliton Tremolo and Autopan pedal from the early 2000's. The Modfx line was a high-resolution digital line of effects pedals that could connect with each other with "links" on the side that made them integrate with other pedals in the series without cables.  There are also the tradition 1/4 inch stereo in/out ports in the back.

I obtained this pedal when a purchased an unused product display that included a CD player, cables, pedal board and 6 pedals.  I purchased the display to obtain one particular pedal, the BITRMAN Bit Crusher and did not use the other pedals aside from initially trying them out.  They have literally been in storage since 2005 or 2006.

The Ampliton offers numerous different types of tremolos and stereo panning effects, which really pop if you send the outputs into 2 amps or stereo monitors.  As well as the normal sweeping functions, the unit offers TAP TEMPO as well as PROGRAMMABLE PATTERNS.  If you connect the unit to up other MODFX pedals, they can work together without signal loss or the need for a buffer pedal.  Below is some of the information on the pedal:

Combines a tremolo with an autopan. LFO of both the tremolo and the autopan can be independently set. LFO waveforms include triangle, square, sample and hold, triggered, and “uncertainty.” Each LFO can be beat-synchronized to input music.

Alesis ModFX Hands-On Review

Alesis ModFX Modules The rationale was so simple, you really have to wonder why nobody thought of it before: Why make a musician pay for effects they don't need? Introducing the ModFX modules, great-sounding digital effects with a list price of just $129. And no, that's no misprint. What's more, your Sweetwater price will be even lower.

All of the ModFX modules have link ports on either side which allow multiple units to be connected together as a chain with no patch cords. Audio is passed along as a lossless 24-bit digital signal.

The pattern mod is especially cool, because it's a 16-step repeating sequence with slew per step. The step levels and the slew are generated randomly each time you turn the ModFX on or press the Mod Reset button. It's almost like getting an infinite supply of inspiration every time you hit that button. On second thought, forget the "almost" part - it actually is an infinite supply of inspiration!

Ampliton

As the name suggests, these are amplitude effects. You might think tremolo and autopan, while quite useful, are not normally thought of as being terribly inspiring. But when you take each effect and combine them, you create amazingly intricate spatial patterns with your audio. Both effects can be synchronized to each other, as well as to an incoming signal. With a little tweaking, you can also get great vintage guitar amp tremolo sounds that vary from that cool Fender throb to the Vox wobble. Wow!
