I may not be as prompt as I normally would like to be.     **************************************************************************************   The TELEPLUS KAX MC7 2X MACRO TELECONVERTER has a deservedly excellent reputation for delivering 1:1 macro (life-size) performance when paired with any SMC Pentax 50mm standard lens. It features 7 element optical construction, the Pentax-KA (P/KA) mount that allows for automatic aperture control with electrical contacts on both mount faces to allow for communication between camera and lens, excellent build quality and multi-layer coated optics. It can also be used as a normal 2X teleconverter. A very high quality item to have in your camera bag for occasions when you need to get much closer to your subject. I have provided 2 image samples in the gallery section... the first is taken with an SMC-A50/2 standard lens used at its closest focusing distance... the second is the same 50mm lens used in combination with the Vivitar MC7 2X macro teleconverter (fully extended at 1:1 life size).        CONDITION OF LENS        Optically MINT! The glass is clean and unmarked. It is without fungus or hazing and is very clean internally. It is extending very smoothly and the contacts are working perfectly. It is in near mint cosmetic condition having had only very light previous use. The white lettering on the end of the barrel got a little bit rubbed when I was cleaning it. Please see the pictures for full confirmation of cosmetic condition. This is a full-frame lens so the angle-of-view and the focal length will be equivalent when used on the new full-frame Pentax K-1 DSLR (no crop factor!).
