I AM JUST THE SECOND OWNER OF THIS WONDERFUL CAMERA.

I bought it 25 years ago from an amateur photographer. He had bought it, brand new. He then decided to hang it up and get an automatic-everything camera. I must say, it has served me well and has traveled with me to many parts of the world. It is a piece of me, of which I am having a hard time letting go. If it sells, I will probably cry when I am boxing it up. Yes, it has a nice patina; it is a user's camera and will continue to survive. I sent it to Leitz when I first bought it, and had it thoroughly inspected, recalibrated, and checked for any flaws. I tried to send it back every few years for a tune-up. Manufactured in 1966 (yes it is 51 years old) and still taking wonderful images. According to Wikipedia, Leitz made 86,000 M2's. I consider this another SURVIVOR! I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, and would consider delivering it anywhere in California for free. If you are interested, you can always make me a reasonable offer and we can go from there. I am also selling a black M2 and if you want to bundle the two items we can work it out. Thank you for reading my ad!

I just received it back from Leitz. It has been gone through and calibrated cleaned and repaired. I thought it was smooth before it left it is now silky smooth and clean.

I have been asked if I will ship this item. The answer is yes and it is free shipping. I will ship it expedited shipping to anywhere in the world. I do have a few exclusions.

Short of hiring a Gulf Stream 7 jet, I will try to get it to you as fast as possible.

I do not know why the ad does not show this, but I have looked at it several times on my page and it shows free shipping.

Thank you for reading my ad!
