Movement is a Caliber 1001, which is adjusted to 5 positions and temperature and met COSC Chronometer specs when manufactured. Watch was serviced less than one year ago. The watch is running well and I have found it to be within +/- 2-3 seconds per day. Movement includes quick set date and is hand winding and hacking.

The case is in fantastic condition, especially considering age (1970). Measures about 33mm across (excluding crown) by 39mm tall and is brushed stainless steel. The concealed lug width is 20mm. Case back includes constellation observatory logo and is also stainless. The movement is housed in the caseback and the caseback is then installed into the case. The caseback is held in place by four screws.

The crown, crystal, face, bracelet, movement are all signed. The face is a beautiful dark green color with a slight sunburst effect and the lacquer finish has become spidered or crackled over time, which is beautiful and actually desirable in some models and in some collectors’ eyes.

Included is the original stainless-steel Omega bracelet which has solid links and hollow end links. There is a slight ripple/bend in the bottom end link, which does not affect functionality. I am also included an aftermarket leather strap with a genuine Omega vintage stainless steel buckle.

This watch dresses up or down very well. It is a bit of a non-traditional design, but it’s vintage size makes it less flamboyant or loud. There are some dings on the underside of the case around the lugs from bracelet/strap changes.

No box and no papers, just watch and extra band/buckle.
