A hammered silver unclipped penny of King Edward II.

Obverse: +EDWAR. Broken left ornament to crown,

angular backed E. Special form A.

Reverse: CIVI/TAS/DVN/ELM. Interesting misformed lettering.

1 Crozier cross terminal attributed to Bishop Kellawe.


CONDITION (UK TYPE GRADE)

Bold Very Fine. With a grey cabinet toning.


SIZE & WEIGHT

1.61 grams x

19.58 mm wide, toned specimen.
