Fully serviced Marantz 7c. I am the effective 2^nd owner of this unit that has been regularly used by owners and serviced by Audio Classics of Vestal, NY.  This unit was purchased from the agent of the original owner with all original documents and a full-service history.  I chose this unit as I needed a “daily driver” that I wouldn’t need to worry about failing.  99% of all units I looked to purchase before this one had questionable, poor or no service history and could not be used on a daily basis without concern.  My entire Marantz system (Marantz 5 monoblocks in another ad) are in no reserve auctions.  For reference, my Marantz System was used with EMT930st and Tannoy 12” red speakers. Marantz 7c serial number is 19124.

Full-Service History: Tube replacement and simple service in the early years were done at local audio shops in original owner’s State of Michigan.  Full service was done once in 2003 at AudioClassics by the original owner and myself in 2017 at Audio Classics.  Cost for service was $400 in 2003 and $1000in 2017 – see receipt and full-service log. Audio Classics is the foremost expert in Marantz products.  Audio Classics currently sells vintage Marantz, has historically sold Marantz Classic reissue products (VAC) and even sold their own version of the Marantz 9 amplifier.  See Audio Classics website for more details.

NOS Marantz WC2 Cabinet – purchased by me to use with this unit.  Unit has not been mounted to cabinet and have all documents, brackets, and screws included. 

Tubes:  Original owner installed 6 medical grade (red and green tip) Mullard 12AX7 matched pair units in 1995 at a cost of $333 in 1995.  These units cost $200 each today (see Brent Jessee tubes for reference).  4 units test fine; 2 units were replaced with Telefunken Smooth Plate 12AX7.  No guarantee on tube life; tubes were checked by Audio Classics in 2017 and the 2 below spec Mullard tubes were replaced for Telefunken.

The unit will be shipped with shipping screw in place on bottom of unit.  Once received please remove shipping screw for best results. 

Given experience with fraudulent buyers, this unit will be sold on an as-is basis with no returns. I have described the unit to the best of my abilities and take no responsibility for any issues after confirmed delivery.  Shipping/insurance will be a flat $50 in the Continental USA.  No International shipping.  The unit will be packaged with same bulletproof packaging from Audio Classics. Local pick-up in Dallas TX is available.
