The 6871QCH038A or 6871QCH038C logic control board will repair units with any combination of the problems shown, and units that display a half screen of video on one side and a blank raster on the other side. Units that display no video at all may or may not be repaired with this board.
This price is for repair and return service, your defective board must be sent to us for repair. You will receive emailed shipping directions to send your defective board to us for repair as soon as payment is confirmed by Paypal. Your repaired board will ship back to you via Priority Mail within 2 working days of receipt at our shop in Kansas City, Missouri. If you ship to us by Priority Mail normal turn around time would be about 5 - 7 days before you have your repaired board back in hand. Boards that have broken ribbon connectors at the bottom or broken pins in the LVDS connection are not repairable, do not send them to us. Any board received that is not repairable for any reason will be returned and a refund minus the return shipping cost will processed in a timely fashion.Click the 'Enlarge' button in the picture gallery and look at the last 4 pictures above to see examples of boards that are not repairable!
Printed instructions for proper installation will be included with your repaired board. Do not send me the heat pads from under the board or the heat pad/metal tab from the top of the board, you will need these items when you install the new board.
These boards are fully tested in a working set after repair. We guarantee the repaired part for 60 days from date of confirmed delivery, a defective part must be returned to us for examination. No refunds will given unless we are unable to repair or exchange your existing part! Buyer responsible for return shipping. Any board returned as non working will be fully tested before a replacement is shipped. If it is defective it will be replaced or repaired at no cost to you. If it is found to be a fully working board, the same board will be returned to you. You must request an RMA number before shipping a defective warranty board back to us.
A symptom of no video at all can be caused by this logic control board or any of the sustain boards in your set, if you do not have the technical ability to troubleshoot your set and determine that a symptom of no video is caused by the logic control and not by the sustain boards, DO NOT BUY! Other symptoms shown are fixed by repairing or replacing this board in virtually all cases. If in doubt, email us a photo and we will advise you. Remanufactured boards are upgraded with the latest LG control ROM software after repair. The new software solves or improves many picture problems known as mal-discharge, colored speckles on screen, blank raster, etc.
Every board has a unique serial number and other marks placed on the board by us.
