Arm cuff extensions that fits the Garrett ATpro, Ace 350, 250 and 150 machines.  I have personally used the Ace 250 for over 4 years.  Is it a perfect machine?  Pretty close, but in user fatigue and balance it lacks quite a bit.  Now I own an ATpro and it has the same issues. The first issue is that it's front heavy and not balanced very good compared to other machines. The second issue is the arm cuff.  For most users it rides on the center of the forearm.  This is a loose fit and also works your arm with more torque.  So even swinging this light weight detector can wear on your arm and shoulders. 

 After using the Ace 250 for 4 years and hundreds of hours and now the ATpro I figured out a solution!  Extend the arm cuff!  That's it! With the cuff extended it now rides on the largest part of your forearm for a tighter fit.  Plus it extends the cuff weight and 4 oz of the Gizmo's weight back further enhancing the balance. This also shifts the machines total balance point back 3 full inches!  The better balanced machines have longer arm cuffs.  Plus most mount the batteries under the cuff, balancing the machine even further.  I have now hunted hundreds of hours with one of my prototypes.  I can tell you that this simple fix solves all these problems! 

Let's talk about how it's made.  I buy #6061 hardened solid aluminum.  Then it's cut to length.  Next it's mounted into a CNC lathe where it's shaped.  Then it's off to a CNC mill where the holes are drilled.  Then it's hand deburred.  Next I check the tolerances to see if it's up to specs.  As you see it's not a cheap piece of tubing with holes punched into it.  It's a high quality machined solid part that will last a lifetime.  This Gizmo will add 4 inches of extension to your arm cuff.  You also have 3 adjustment settings all 1 inch apart. I'm 6ft tall and do not use the full extension. As you can see in the last 4 pictures there is a lot of difference!  Difference you can feel!   I have given some of my early prototypes to avid hunters that love them.  The only upgrade they wanted to see was a way to cleanly cut off the excess if the full length was not going to be used.  Well I solved that too!  Here's how.  At every interval I added a chamfered groove.  Now if you wish to cut any excess off you have a groove to guide your saw.  Since the groove is chamfered, once cut you have a nice finished angle. 

 Here is what you get with the Gizmo.  You get the extension, mounting bolt, nylon locking nut, instructions and warranty.  So what is the warranty?  If in 60 days you don't like the Gizmo simply send it back to me for a full refund of your purchase price if not altered or cut off.  If it ever breaks send if back for either your money back or a new replacement.  Most of us spend $45.00 for a good digger.  Some buy plastic plumbing pipe detector stands for $20.00  So the Gizmo is a bargain!   Why not be more comfortable while hunting?   Fits on the ATpro, Ace 350, 250 and 150.  Get yours today!
