What Model "A"ers like about my Hood Support is the simplicity of design...no need to find the wire arm and thread it through the handle. No need to drill any holes. Just lift the hood and rest the lower hood edge on the angled, protective vinyl end of the "Hood Tamer" hood support. Go to the other side and do the same thing. Now both sides are held securely in place. You are free to work on the engine compartment from both sides or display your hard work at a car show. No need to let one side of the hood lie on the other.

I now use 3M Heavy Wall heat shrink material on the ends for even more protection and stability. The "Hood Tamer" mounts on the radiator support rods about 8" from the firewall. Simple and user-friendly. There are two styles available. They are designed specifically for the 28-29* or 30-31 body styles. This auction is for the '28-'29
*if your radiator has built-in clips, you may not need this hood support.
