Nice and rare British cavalry trooper's sword p/1864.
Single edged fullered blade is clean overall. The blade has been sharpened and has one remarkable nick near the edge. 
Steel guard is in very good condition as well as grip. Guard is solid and has no movement or wobbling.
Steel scabbard with two suspension rings is also good and clean. Blade and scabbard are marked "Mole Birm'm" 
According to characteristic marks on the pommel, this sword was pictured and described in Harvey Withers book "World swords", p. 100.
