This is an original Brian Knight 6 1/2" X 7 1/4" print of a North American P-51 Mustang.  It was published by Quay Publications in Wareham, Dorset, England.  It is on heavy paper and comes with a card of the same size that offers information about the airplane.  That information is transcribed below.  Brian Knight is well known as a great plane artist with impeccable attention to detail.

NORTH AMERICAN P-51 MUSTANG
Power: (P-51D) One 1,490 H.P. (Packard built V-1650-7) Rolls-Royce Merlin engine.
Armament: Three 0.50" Browning machine guns in each wing and two 500lb (227kg) bombs under each
wing or five 5.0" rockets or three bazooka-type rocket launching tubes beneath each wing.
The Mustang was conceived to meet a British requirement for a high-speed fighter. (NX 19998).
The prototype made its first flight on the 2th October 1940, poweredbya 1,100 H.P. Allison engine, later on
fitted with a Rolls-Royce Merlin.  The P-51 Mustang became a fighter pilot's dream machine.
First R.A.F. Mustangs became operational in July 1942, from December.  The U.S.A.A.F. flew escort missions
with the Eighth Air Force bombers, pressing further than any other fighter into Europe.
The aircraft depicted are P-51 Ds of the 55th Fighter Group, U.S. Eighth Air Force 1944.
