This Barbie & Ken Olympic Skater Set was produced by Mattel and released in 1997 right before the 1998 Olympics in Nagano, Japan.  The back of the box features Tara Lipinski (see photo).  Tara was one of the favorites for the 1998 U.S. Olympic Team. 

Make the Barbie and Ken dolls skate and spin to a gold medal win!  You can:

• Wind Barbie up and make her spin, spin, spin!
• Make Barbie twirl like never before!
• Make Barbie do a sit spin! 

Box does state that the dolls cannot stand or skate alone.  Includes poseable dolls, skating outfits, skates, floral bouquet, medals, and instructions. 

Please be sure to review the above photos.  Two corners (top left and bottom right) open slightly.  The remaining two corners look fine.  The bottom left corner has writing on it.  Overall, the box is in good condition -- considering its age.  Both dolls are mint and have never been removed from the box. 

I am the original owner.  This set has resided in a smoke-free environment. 

The Barbie & Ken Olympic Skater Set will be securely packaged and sent USPS Priority Mail due to its weight.
