SwitchStick Ice Grip for Walking Sticks & Canes.
A crampon for your walking stick, which flips up indoors so as not to damage your flooring. The Ice Grip attaches to the base of most walking sticks, canes and crutches to provide added grip and reassurance when walking in wintry conditions. It is simple to attach using the two screws provided and easily retracts up while not in use to prevent floor damage.
To attach to a walking stick, simply undo the screws and attach the ice grip so the 'spiked' base is flush with the bottom of the stick, in effect becoming the new base. Screw securely in place fastening the screws either side of the grip until completely tight using a Philips screwdriver. The stick is now ready for outdoor use. When indoors, squeeze the two white levers together and flip up the ice grip spiked base, positioning it along the stick, and thereby ensuring you don't damage any floors.
Please note - We do NOT recommend walking stick users to go out on ice as this is the easiest time to slip and fall. However, should you wish or need to go out in wintry conditiond the grip may offer some additional stability on the ice. Please take extra care.
