1982 Starlet KP61 4KC (USA) appx 400K miles mostly stock

Being sold by original owner.

The bad: needs paint, some small rust spots, the re-paint of the passenger side was done because I got too close to my fence and put a long scrape in the original paint. Only one minor accident - rear ended. Bumper and cushions replaced by Toyota, no other damage..  Odometer does not work (speedo OK). Dash damage around the radio where it was stolen. PS door lock was damaged in same break in, I removed it and covered the hole with a knock-out plug to keep the water out. Padded dash is intact, but has mounting holes, adhesives, and wear.  Original windshield washer pump replaced with a generic pump.

The good: Except as listed above, everything works: all lights, heater, dash instruments (except the ODO), front seats move and recline, seat belts all work, doors/hatch/hood work smoothly. Engine and transmission have been rebuilt, guessing 40K miles on tranny and 30K on engine. Both work well. Good seat covers on front seats. Rear seats in good condition. Carpet in fair shape with a few holes. Wiper delays installed for both front and rear wipers. No body parts (doors, fenders, etc.) have been replaced. (other than rear bumper)

Other: Has keyless remote locks for doors and hatch (update-these are still there, but the wireless part no longer works). After market cruise, works. Heater water valve replaced with a generic valve, works. Oil pressure, voltmeter, ammeter added, under dash. 12V power outlets added, direct battery and switched. Added electric booster fuel pump. Instrument & dash lights replaced with LEDs. All emission controls are intact and working. Glass is good.

The rebuilt engine is from a 1981. The sale includes a large pile of parts from the 1981, which was parted out, including a working transmission. Also included is the original 1982 engine - which runs but burns oil. There is also an entire rear axle and both front strut assemblies - the axle and struts have been stored outdoors. There is also a gas tank and studded snow tires on rims.

If you wish to pick up the car with your truck and a dolly, I will remove the driveline and drain the transmission for you. All the spare parts should fit in the back of a pickup truck. VEHICLE MUST BE REMOVED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF SALE.
