You are bidding on a beautiful antique thimble holder, mostly likely Victorian Era or earlier. Carved from a nut, perhaps tagua or coquilla are most common. sometimes referred to as "vegetable ivory".  Very nice condition with one small chip out of little foot and some rough edges but threading for top closure fits nicely and has lovely patina and shine. Measures approx 2". see photos for more detail.

Thank you for looking and please see our other items up for auction. Lots of items in the Store also have BIN and Make Offers!

Michigan residents will pay 6% sales tax.

PLEASE NOTE WE WILL NOT END AUCTIONS EARLY!! DO NOT MESSAGE US REQUESTING A BUY IT NOW PRICE ON AN AUCTION ITEM!!!!!

ALSO, please understand we start every listing with PRIORITY SHIPPING as the default option. It is safer, faster, and more secure and reliable for both buyer and seller. In the past, we had a few overseas items go astray when we tried First Class.  IF YOU MESSAGE US AND REQUEST it, on items that meet the weight requirement we can do First Class if you are comfortable with it. We are changing most of our new small item listings to First Class domestic as well. Please understand we realize the calculated cost for priority for a piece of jewelry seems high, but IT IS CALCULATED, and it rounds for “a pound or less” -we are not simply putting high amounts to make money on shipping, we do not do that. HIGH END and expensive jewelry will still be Priority. If you have shipping price concerns, discuss them with us. NASTY messages are not necessary. Thank you
