This beautiful variety offers dazzling color when planted in masses. The color is a deep scarlet. It is one of the earliest, and shortest, of all the Salvia varieties

Annual in zones 3-6

Growing Instructions:

Sow the seeds directly on sterile starter mix, and do not cover the seeds- they need light to germinate. Place your trays (or pots) in a well-lighted area with no direct sunlight. Cover the trays with plastic wrap loosely. Make sure you mist the plants every day or two. Preferred temperature is 55-60F. Germination from 5-17 days. Transplant when two leaves form.

Southern US:

Direct seed in the garden after danger of last frost has passed. Sow on surface of the soil and keep well-watered.
