External Microphone with Clip
Do you need to improve the quality of the audio in your GoPro footage... or capture audio from an area away from the camera? Hefner's External Clip-On Mic lets you easily mount the lightweight Mic in numerous locations to capture your preferred source of sound and complement your GoPro footage.
Popular mounting locations are:
- The traditional collar mount.
- Close to the rear hub of a bicycle.
- Near an exhaust of a vehicle.
The Mic has a thick foam surround to minimise wind noise and the 'pop' sound when speaking but this can be easily removed if it's not needed.
The Microphone unit itself is made all from metal to ensure top strength and acoustic purity.
The lightweight cable is covered in nylon braid to prevent wear and tear.
A 1 meter long cable extends your boundaries of where the mic can be mounted. Audio is captured by a single high quality transducer that captures sound between 30Hz-15kHz and is then sent to the Left and Right channels via the 3.5mm Jack. An Enhanced Dynamic Bass Horn boosts the lower frequencies so audio detail isn't missed out.
