Beautiful 1975 Solid 18ct Gold Ladies Rolex Oyster Perpetual Vintage Watch

The Overview

This is a stunning example of the solid 18ct yellow gold ladies Rolex Oyster Perpetual dating from 1975. The solid 18ct gold case is in excellent condition with only the most minor signs of wear – the Rolex signed screw down crown is working perfectly. The Rolex signed champagne/Tiger Eye dial is untouched and in excellent condition. The yellow gold applied batons and hands flow into the champagne dial and is perfectly framed by the gleaming gold fluted bezel. The very high grade Rolex signed automatic movement is again in excellent condition and has just been fully serviced by our professional watchmaker. To complete this beautiful piece we’ve added a new, high quality, dark brown Hirsch crocodile skin strap with a Hirsch gold plated buckle.

Watches of this quality and in this condition are extremely rare and highly sought after – if history is any judge they will only increase in value.

As mentioned, it has just been serviced by my watchmaker and, in view of the high-grade Swiss movement, I will include a 12 month guarantee on the movement.

The Case

The provenance polished solid 18ct yellow gold screw down case is in excellent condition with only the most minor signs of wear. The case measures 24 mm’s wide, excluding the original Rolex signed winding crown and 30 mm’s, including the lugs. The inside back is signed ‘Montres Rolex SA Geneva Switzerland’ and the case number of ‘6700’. It has the appropriate hallmarks for solid 18ct gold. The serial number is 4 million dating it to 1975 – the full serial number will of course be given to the buyer

The Dial

The Rolex signed champagne/tiger eye (darker gold) pearlescent dial is untouched and in excellent condition. The yellow gold applied batons and hands flow into the dial and they’re perfectly framed by the gleaming gold fluted bezel. It is signed ‘Rolex Oyster Perpetual’ and ‘T Swiss T’.

The Movement

The original Rolex signed and very high-grade automatic movement is in excellent condition. The movement has just been fully serviced by my professional watchmaker and is in excellent working order. It is signed ‘Montres Rolex SA Geneva Swiss’, ‘Twenty Eight 28 Jewels’, ‘Adj. 5 Positions and Temperature’ and the calibre is ‘2030’. The movement number is ‘237066’.

The Strap

This watch sits on a new, high quality, dark brown Hirsch crocodile skin strap with a gold plated Hirsch buckle.

The Box, Papers and Sonning Warranty
