Up for sale is a new and extremely rare AutoArt 1:18 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Limousine Avantgarde (AA76264) and Millennium edition in Black .  No broken or missing parts. A real AUTOart beauty. Now this particular car has a story! As you see in my other listing I used to do my own photography but this one was owned by Photographer of many diecast brands so that I put his photos ( I think that this car was the model that used for these photos) Any way I put my own two photos at last to respect the art of photographer. No Returns. Duty. Customs, and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.

This model represents the Mercedes-Benz C class sedan in European configuration. I'm assuming by the dual exhausts that this "Avantgarde" edition is probably the equivalent of the C350 "Sport" model that includes the AMG sport package and the 268hp 24v V6 as the engine is shielded both above and below from the eye. This is a well done model whose only flaw on the exterior is a slight casting void on the left side edge of the hood panel on my example.

The black paint is mirror-like, the glazing is clear and distortion free. All the lensing is well modeled plastic. The brake discs have realistic "turned" finish but the calipers are somewhat crude in silver plastic. All the panels have decent shutlines with the only gripe being the hood will not stay opened.

The engine compartment is well represented although the intake covers the engine. The all black engine bay could use a bit more texture to distiguish between the different materials employed.

All four doors open to reveal a very nice interior. No complaints here. Everything is properly textured and scaled. The restraint systems are very realistic in material and they way they drape over the simulated leather seats.

This is a nice companion piece to AUTOart's S-Klasse release. The model has the stance, look and presence of its 1:1 namesake. In other words, it look like it could kick your butt while in Neutral.
