The wait is finally over. No more deep blues with a hint of violet. NDB7675 a true blue laser diode.

Listing is for a single 9mm NICHIA 1.4W NDB7675 462nm Blue Laser Diode mounted in a massive 35mm x 30mm copper module with thermal back half and leads added. This module is designed for easy mounting in a 35mm XYZ mount like this one. LINK
This option assumes you have a glass lens you wish to use.
Please Note this module comes with an acrylic lens in it to keep dust out. It can not handle the power this unit can put out. It will keep contaminates out of the module until you are ready to put yours glass lens in. Replace with your glass lens of choice before powering the module. The best options are the Aixiz 405/445 Glass Lens or the 405 G-2 Lens.
If you need a lens with the unit I do offer this unit in a combo with a three element or with the G-2. See my other listings.

Save yourself the headache of pressing and soldering. Just add lens, host, heatsink and laser driver. The three element glass lens will give the lowest divergence of any lens available but has some splash and the 405-G-2 gives about 30% more power but a higher divergence.;)

Here is what you get. One 9mm 1.4W NDB7675 462nm diode mounted in a massive 35mm x 30mm copper module with leads.

A laser diode is a current-driven device which is should not to be driven by a voltage source. Otherwise electrical

overstress may occur to the laser diodes as the operation voltage varies from device to device and additionally depends on the case temperature. Special care has to be taken, when switching the electrical power on and off, as transient currents beyond the maximum ratings can occur damaging the laser diode. To operate laser diodes correctly , a proper electrical driving mechanism has to be employed. A proper laser diode driver must be used to act as an accurate constant current source with good transient protection and very low noise.

For more info on the reason for a constant current driver see this thread.

Laser Driver - It Can Be Done!

If you need a laser driver I have these options.
Or I have option for the diode in module with a laser driver installed

Here is the Pinout for the diode

If you are looking for a host here are some of the more popular host/heatsink kits that will work with these diodes and if you want something that is not listed in those links that I show in my tutorials below shoot me a message and I can point you in the right direction for them.;)

Nichia 1.4W NDB7675 462nm Laser Diode

First thing I noticed is the beam shape and divergence seems to be the same as the 1.6W NDB7875 445nm diode. Minor differences in shape here is just from small focusing differences.

My camera does not do the best job of picking it up but there is a touch of violet to the NDB7875 445nm compared to the NDB7675 462nm.

Now here is the power test of the diode.
