Designed by Berlin-based Johanna F. Schneider, the collection reinvents modular design for women’s training and is inspired by creating architecture for the human body. Schneider takes her experience from the worlds of fashion and performance creating innovative performance pieces.
Each piece is designed with layering in mind, meant to be worn before, during and after a workout. Schneider highlights that the collection was built to move and interact with a woman’s body, strategically hiding and revealing parts of the female body in a sophisticated way.
With a minimal two-layer construction, the studio wrap offers freedom of movement and a flexible, barefoot-like experience geared for yoga, barre or Pilates. The lightweight stretch foam and mesh top layer crisscrosses over the foot and wraps around the arch and under the heel for added support. A flat slips over the wrap for studio-to-street protection, featuring custom artwork by Schneider. Hexagonal flex grooves allow for multidirectional support, and an anatomically shaped outsole optimizes traction without compromising flexibility.
