A  very fine specimen from the Benitoite Gem Mine in California. Tabular benitoite crystals at about a dozen cover the entire area of this special piece. Fine terminations and lustrous look on these beautiful cornflower blue crystals that measure to 1.2 cm across. Gem areas on most of the benitoites and a special section of the specimen with crystals stacked on eachother. Overall measurements are 7.3 x 3.9 x 2.9 cm.  A  rare mineral piece that is certainly very desirable and looks great in a fine mineral collection.
