Stevia
is a remarkable plant that is used in many parts of the world as
natural herbal sweetener. Stevia dry leaves are about 30 times
sweeter
than sugar but contain no calories. Stevia is native to South America,
where it's used as a sweetener and has been known for at least 1,500
years!
Annual (all zones) but can be easily kept
indoor during winter.

Sow
in summer or in warm greenhouse. Keep surface wet (foil cover is the
best). Additional information on request. Sow seed on surface and press
in. Germination takes max 10 days. Ussualy no longer than 5 days. The
dried leaf is used for sweetening drinks and is 30 times sweeter than
sugar! (If anybody tells you that stevia is 300 times sweeter that
sugar - don't believe it , stevia contains stevioside that is about 300
times sweter , but the total content of stevioside is about 10%, if
really well cultivated than can be up to 12...13%) .
