For over 100 years talking boards, spirit boards and Ouija boards have been used to bridge the gap between our world and those which lie beyond the veil.  Popularized (and oft-times demonized) in media, these boards are a tool for mediumship or divination.  Like any other implement used to open the mind to a realm of possibilities, the results are often determined by the intent and will of the wielder.

I create these unique Spirit Talking Boards from solid 1/2" thick hardwoods.  Four pieces are joined to prevent the warping that will often occur with such large, thin pieces - which is why I can guarantee these for the lifetime of the board.  Unlike many of their counterparts on the market, the numbers, letters and images are engraved and painted.  Rather than a planchette standing on small legs, mine are flat on either side to glide easily across the engravings.

The planchettes are solid hardwood and available in your choice of:

My boards are finished a vintage amber shellac formula that gives each one a golden glow.  Each board comes with tips developed by local mediums and teachers to help you get the most out of your experience connecting to the other side.

Wood Care

The natural oils in our skin, UV exposure and aging may change the color of the wood over time as well as allowing dirt to penetrate the pores.  Additionally, dramatic changes in temperature or humidity can create splitting or warping in such slender pieces of wood.  Avoid extreme temperature and humidity changes.  I personally like Murphy's Oil Soap with Orange Oil or Howard's Feed n' Wax (although the latter contains a petroleum distillate) for cleaning (I have two sets of sticky girl hands that love magic).
