This auction is for a Vintage 1964 Eldon Corvette Sting Ray 1:32 Scale Slot Racer NEW IN BOX (NIB).

The slot racer is a 12 volt high performance model racing car kit. It is very rare to find a 1960's Eldon Corvette Slot Racer in the original box. The motor was made in Japan and the rest of the car was made in USA (see scan of side of box for more information).

The box does have some damage and writing on it but the inside looks new except for one small piece of cardboard that appears to be missing. This car came from an Estate Sale and we were told that the slot car is new in the box. We didn't test it as we did not want to take it out of the box. Please let us know if you have any questions before bidding.

Note: We received a message that somebody thought the motor was not the original 12 volt motor but it was replaced with a 6 volt motor. I mainly collect sport collectibles and I do not know anything about slot cars. You can look at the scans and decide what you think. 

The stock number on this Slot Car is 3936:500. We have included scans of every side of the box so you can see the condition of the box and the car inside.
