item - 2pc lot of Nanya 1GB PC2700 DDR-333MHz 200pin sodimm laptop memory. These are "low density" 16 chip sodimms vs later "high density" 8 chip sodimms. Most recent PC laptops can use low or high density sodimms, but many Mac and older PC  laptops can only use low density sodimms, hence Mac in listing header. Apple favored low density memory for years since it's slightly "faster" (in theory). These are Nanya "originals" (Nanya chips, assembly, tags) but oddly 2Rx8 is not on tags; likewise, country of origin (should be Korea vs that other place)...

NOTE: 2Rx8 vs 2Rx16 denotes the density of the chips, not the sodimm, and 2R refers to rank 2 of memory architecture (not DDR2)
