Preben Holm/Ben Wade Nobel Prize 2000. Monster Pipe With Grain To Match! Wow. All Original And Truly Unbelievable Grain! Big Beautiful Pipe! Nomenclature is perfect. Stem is original and perfectly snug. Pretty unique shape! Massive size 79.20 grams! This pipe is one of only 200 Nobel Prize grade pipes that were ever made by Preben Holm and were the precursor to the Private Collection grade. These pipes accounted for less than 1% of all Ben Wade pipes made. It would date to 1971-1974. At the time the Nobel Prize was his highest grade. Incredible straight grain on all sides of the bowl. Very very hard to find pipe that rarely come to market.
The pipe is very nice and feels great in hand. A larger sized pipe for extended smoking sessions.

A stunning original Estate Master carver Preben Holm masterpiece!
This pipe has been cleaned inside and out. Buffed to a mirror shine and two coats of Caranuba wax were applied. The bowl and stem were cleaned and sanitized with 100% grain alcohol. Pipe is ready to enjoy!
97/100. Fully restored. Ben Wade crown logo is a bit faded on stem. Very clean chamber. No obvious handling marks. Stem fitment is perfect.
