1978 Gibson RD Artist Bass guitar #72268176. Very good condition. Fireburst finish (3 tone Sunburst) and an Ebony fretboard. A very clean and all original example. There are only a few marks/dings to the body and the same to the back of the neck and headstock. There's a little buckle rash/scratches on the back but as yet it hasn't worn through the finish. The neck is straight and the action is set up nice and low. The frets are in great shape and the truss rod is fully functioning. The headstock has no cracks/repairs. The original Moog circuitry and pots are untouched. Comes in the original hard case. Fully set up by my technician Chris Ward. Weight:11.5 lbs. This is a superb bass to play with a great range of tones. Its marked as a second. Gibson guitars with finish flaws or blemishes were marked as seconds, With natural ageing and play wear there is nothing visible that could be described as a flaw.
