This is a fine 6 jaw bezel self-centering lathe chuck. It is a multipurpose precision chuck mainly for thin round material, crystal bezels, plates, watch wheels, cases, etc. It has an outside grip of approx. 3 to 54 mm in diameter and an inside grip of approx. 14 to 71 mm.  The scroll is in excellent condition (please see pictures). All jaws are good and well aligned; it works smoothly all the way. It comes with a mounting chuck with dimensions detailed below. Old quality. No rust.

√     The overall diameter is approx.: 74mm. (2 7/8”).

√    It weights approx. 13 oz. It shows pitting, dents, scratches and black scale. Covered with a light coat of bee’s wax to protect it during handling.

√     Scrolls and guide grooves are in excellent shape. They do not show broken parts or cracks. It is not worn out and the chuck works very smoothly.

√     The mounting chuck is held by three screws and it could be changed to suit your lathe. The collet does not appear to have all the dimensions of a standard WW chuck. Here are the approx. measurements: 8 mm body diameter, 23 mm body length, 42 mm total length, 13 mm diameter on touching the flat, 7.8 mm threaded length, 6.8 mm thread diameter, 40 TPI or about 0.63 mm. The keyway is open showing marring (please see pictures) with approx.: 10 mm length, 1.8 mm width and 0.5 mm depth.
