Here is a must-have for avid custom colour Fender collector. Here is an early 62 Vintage Re-issue Fender Stratocaster from 1988 finished in beautiful Surf Green with a beautiful dark rosewood slab-board neck.
This one qualifies as NEW condition to me, in it is exactly the same condition any new Fender would be hanging in your local guitar store. It has no surface marks, the neck is immaculate and the case still has the plastic over the latches. It comes with all its case-candy that is dated 1988 which is in immaculate condition but the case itself shows signs of vintage due to storage rather than use.
I have had the neck off once, it was the only time it was removed: neck stamped 23rd of September 1988, CTS pots dating to the 25th week of 1988, original pickups with the usual dark purple/almost black winding and original 3-way is installed. Its weight is just a fraction over 8 pounds.
This is arguably the most collectible custom colour that Fender have produced and this is your chance to get your hands on one in new condition, plus being almost 30 years old. This is a rare find in today's vintage market. anyone is welcome to and view the Strat or chat on the phone.
