This amber is difficult to acquire and has been dated to be Cretaceous in age (around 100 million years old) and would have been sticky resin during the time of the dinosaurs.

This is a very rare, gemmy piece of beautiful red burmite amber from Myanmar (Burma) that contains a beautifully preserved spider. This color of amber is highly sought after.

The piece has been polished.

It could be set to make a lovely and very unique piece of jewelry.
