 The 50mm is a very sharp and versityle lens, a favorite for many photographers. The T* coating improves image contrast and color saturation. Unfortunately lenses manufactured today don't come close in quality and workmanship to these Carl Zeiss lenses. In my opinion these all metal construction lenses were the very best ever manufactured by Zeiss

The lens is in mint condition with very minor cosmetic wear, mostly some paint marks. Elements are super clean with no dust or scratches. I have serviced the shutter ($275 value) to ensure the lens will be problem free to the new owner for a very long time. The focus movement is also very smooth after the service. Included in the listing are: 50mm C T* lens, caps and clear protective case (bubble).

 The 50mm will work on all 500 series camera bodies and also on 200 series when set to "F"

Every Hasselblad camera that I sell is professionally serviced as needed using genuine spare parts, lubricants and adjusted to precise factory specifications using proprietary Hasselblad factory tools. During service, the camera is fully disassembled, parts are cleaned and inspected for wear. Worn parts are replaced with new ones. The parts are then lubricated, and reassembled. Once serviced, the cameras are adjusted to factory specifications, meticulously cleaned, inspected and tested. There are many Hasselblad cameras sold on eBay and claimed by the seller to having been serviced. This is often not the case. Most independent repair shops simply lack the proper tools, parts and expertise to do such repairs. 

NOTE: Hasselblad cameras are built to last. Unfortunately most V systems cameras are now on average 20-50 years old. Some have never been serviced and the majority are in very poor mechanical condition. Old lubricants dry up and no longer offer any protection. Newer synthetic lubricants and light seal materials used today offer greater protection and longevity.
