16" (40cm) Rustic Log slice, ideal for cake stands, centre piece, stepping stones, garden table tops & stools.  Sawn from English Larch timber supplied from sustainable woodlands and managed forests with character and lovely ring and grain markings, either keep it as it is or smooth by sanding. 

Approximate 16" diameter ( approx as not always completely round)  x  2.5"- 3" thick.  Sizes are approximate as cut from logs with a chainsaw and difficult to get sizes accurate.  The log slice sold may not be the one in the picture but will be very similar as cut from the same stock of timber. Various dimensions are available please let me know if you require a specific size. 

We try our very upmost to supply you with a perfect log but due to it's nature there might be slight imperfections.

Please note that greenwood can move slightly overtime which is a natural drying process especially in a warm environment this adds to its character and looks. There is no guarantee that this log won't split over a length of time so we recommend treating with a few coats of butchers block oil (food safe) or linseed oil/teak oil which will penetrate into the wood which will help prevent movement, still giving it a natural look without varnishing or staining. Mildew can sometimes be a problem if not kept in dry, ventilated conditions. (care instructions are provided with each log sold)

PLEASE UNWRAP YOUR PARCEL AS SOON AS IT ARRIVES TO ALLOW THE LOG TO BREATH AND READ THE CARE INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED. Please order as near to venue date as possible (approx 2 weeks is ideal)
