Dell Latitude E5420

This laptop has been fully tested, the HDD wiped and the item cleaned ready for a new owner. We have installed Windows 7 (professional Edition), Microsoft Security Essentials, Open Office and a genuine Dell charger. So this laptop is ready to go straight out the box. 

Issues discovered during testing:

• The BIOS settings on this laptop are locked by a password. This doesn't adffect day-to-day running of the laptop, but to change BIOS settings the password will need to be unlocked. Dell can assist with unlocking, but may charge a fee for this service. 
  
  
• The boot order of the laptop is set to check the DVD drive first - so Windows etc. can be reinstalled at a later date without the need to change any BIOS settings.
  
  
• The right touchpad button on this laptop does not work.
  
  

Cosmetic condition:

• Outer case: Some small scratches and marks on the lid (see pictures), otherwise the outer case is in very good condition generally. 
  
  
• Screen:  Very good condition - no dead pixels, scratches or pressure marks on the screen. The bezel surrounding the screen is in good condition also.
  
  
• Keyboard & Touchpad:  Both the keyboard and touchpad are in good cosmetic condition. No faded keys or noticeable wear.
  
  
• Battery: We have tested the battery and guarantee that it will last a minimum of 60 minutes when the laptop is unplugged, however it is likely to last longer.
