Our collars come in 4 widths, ¾ inch., 1 inch, 1.5 inch & 2 inch , & four collar sizes, small 11"-15", medium 14"-20", large 18"-24", extra large 22"-28". ( other sizes available on request.)
To asses the collar size you will need, take 3 measurements, one around the neck where the collar sits , the second from in front of the ears to under the chin and the third from behind the ears to under the chin; use the largest measurement to determine the size collar suitable for your dog. Please see the diagram above.
Martingale collars are fitted to the exact size of the dogs neck when the collar is pulled closed. Properly fitted the collar will be comfortably loose when not in use, when the Martingale control loop is pulled the two loops ( metalwear on the small loop of the martingale) will close together without choking your dog.
