Vintage!

As new condition!

My father received this as a gift (he thinks that it was in the 1960's!) but he never "used it."

I gave it a light polish to remove the patina and shine it up... then I cleaned it and oiled all of the joints on the hinges and pocket knife.

This is a hand wound Pocket Watch... NOT the cheap Quartz CRAP!

It seems to be keeping time well.

I'm not sure how to set the day and date... normally that is done at a certain depth while pulling out the crown.
I didn't seem to be able to set the day and date... but my guess is that I didn't try hard enough or know the "secret" to doing so.
Setting the time works well.

The Pocket Knife seems to "work well."

All of this is as close to "spotless" as anyone could expect... I don't see a single scratch on it...
just the very slightest "hazing" due to decades of storage in my father's jewelry box... even that can be polished out I'm sure!
