Krooked Skateboards was founded by skateboarding legend Mark Gonzales in 2001 under DLX Distribrution alongside Spitfire Wheels, Thunder Trucks, Real Skateboards and Anti-Hero Skateboards. Gonzales is responsible for the vast majority of the graphics, art, promotional material, and advertisements for the brand. Krooked Skateboards are also well known for their "Guest Boards", which are usually very limited and feature pro skaters from the past and present who ride for other companies, giving skateboarders and fans an opportunity to have something from a pro who would generally not be associated with the company. The Krooked Skateboards team consists of Mike Anderson, Dan Drehobl, Bobby Worrest, Mark Gonzales, David Clark, Brad Cromer, Luke Croker, and recently Auby Taylor.
