1990 Martin J40 M. Excellent condition. Original case.(one case latch has broken) It has a solid spruce top, rosewood back and sides, bound ebony fingerboard with abalone hexagonal inlays, mahogany neck, ebony bridge with white abalone dot pins, rosewood headstock veneer and gold tuners. 

The M, or 0000, has a jumbo sized top with the thickness of an OM. The J40M is a very balanced sounding acoustic with tons of bass, mids that really cut through and a sparkly top end. 

The condition is fantastic, it shows very little play wear. Parts of the binding around the shoulders on the back had started to come away, so my technician has re glued it. 

All round excellent Martin acoustic. Fullly set up by my technician with a fresh set of strings. Serial:501602. Weight: 4.8 lbs. Neck width at nut: 1 & 3/4" at 12th fret: 2 & 5/32". Depth at nut: 7/8" at 12th: 1".
