These racing paddles are especially crafted for the BMW E46 M3 with the SMG II transmission, they are beautifully finished in Carbon Fibre. You can wheel shift so much easier than the stock paddles. During turns, you can get a good 30% more rotation without having to remove your right hand and shift with these SMG lever. You can also wheel shift with your elbows resting on your legs since your fingers can reach the bottom of the paddles when your hands are placed on the lower (4:00 and 8:00) positions. So it's much more comfortable when just cruising, or when taking hard, tight turns. You can pretty much find these paddles on your steering wheel no matter where your hands are.

Replacing your SMG paddles is quite simple, and requires only a small allen wrench (Torx T20). As the SMG paddles do not connect to wires or switches in anyway, there is no wiring or difficult installation required. This can be done in as little as 5-10 minutes! The T20 allen key is included.
